Property Values for 2023
On November 20, 2023, Governor Polis signed Senate Bill 23B-001. For 2023 only (taxes payable in 2024) this legislation temporarily reduces the assessment rate for residential property to 6.7% and adjust market values by $55,000. These changes are reflected in tax bills. Please contact County Treasurer’s Office for information about tax bills.
Property owners that disagree with the market values determined by the Assessor on their 2023 tax bill may qualify to file for an abatement if they did not previously protest their 2023 valuation. Please visit our Property Tax Abatement page to learn more.

The owners of taxable personal property in Boulder County as of January 1 must file a Business Personal Property Declaration. In 2024, the deadline to file a Business Personal Property Declaration is April 15. Please visit the Business Personal Property Declarations page to get started.
